Baking Soda Uses
To remove odors from your hands, wet your hands & rub them together with soda, then rinse.
While running water add 1/2 cups or more of baking soda to your bath water to soften your skin.

Apply baking soda paste directly to insect bites, rashes and poison ivy to relieve discomfort. Make a paste with water. (this may become messy to when paste dry) so have a towel ready it will flake off.

Take a baking soda bath to relieve general skin irritations such as measles too!
Used as a mouthwash, to make mouthwash mix a little in water – baking soda will also relieve canker sore pain.
To relieve sunburn: use a paste of baking soda and water. (please note it could be messy when dries) to make the patse follow the above directions.
To Make Play Clay with baking soda: combine 1 1/4 cups water, 2 cups soda, 1 cup cornstarch. Mix all together you can add food color if wanted for color.
To use baking soda as an underarm deodorant dust under arm.
If your baby spits up after feeding, moisten a cloth, dip it in baking soda and dab it on stain. The odor will go away.
Unclog a drain. Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, then slowly pour 1/2 to 1 cup of white vinegar down the drain. Let sit for five minutes (covered, if possible). Follow with a gallon of boiling water.
Settle a stomach during occasional indigestion. Stir 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda into 1/2 cup of water.
